Near Sawrey Farm Alpacas is home to "woolly" huacaya (pronounced "wa-ki-ya") alpacas, known for their dense, crinkled fleece. My herd lives with many other alpacas in Somis, California at Alpacas at Windy Hill. Surrounded by the beautiful mountains and orchards of Southern California, it's a wonderful place to visit. Browse through all our pages to see what alpacas are all about.
